Tell us something about you that fans should know:
I am a constant learning and evolving entity. If there was a sound that I always find, it might be described as melancholic and moody. When I sing, I try to evoke new sounds… which has recently turned grittier and more aggressive. Interestingly, the production work that I've done in that time, has been softer and closer to lullabies than ever before.
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and raised in and around Hamilton, Ontario, Canada – the music here has always been eclectic and diverse. I have roots in Canadian classic rock from the likes of Rush, the Tragically Hip, Neil Young and many more… but also find home in the R&B hip hop that the North has cooked up from Drake, The Weeknd, to Kardinal Offishall and even more than before…
